Anchoring two holes suffices normally, but, some load designs require four anchors or more.

Beam locking pins are necessary to any storage rack installation. They prevent the beam from accidental dislodging of its slots during the loading / unloading process. While it is not a load carrying member, it fastens the beam to the storage rack and prevents separation or collapse in case of an accidental strike by the pallet or MHE.

Load signage is required to convey about load-bearing capacity of each racking system. It is critical from an operator’s and safety point of view and helps identify load capacity and the right loading conditions.

Yes, you can, but only after it has been checked by the system supplier. Before reconfiguring beams, you need to ensure that the loads are under permissible units. To make changes to the 1st level, please contact racking supplier for feasibility.

Racking base plates exert tremendous pressure on the floor below. A concrete floor can absorb this pressure. Care should be taken that the constructed floor can bear racking and material weight, and is also strong enough to fasten the racks.
